Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

child custody

My ex and I have a joint custody agreement in Macomb County Michigan, we have been alternating on a weekly basis for over 2 years. There are specific conditions, one of which he has consistently violated the entire time (regular drug (pot) use while the kids are in his care). Does this constitute loss of his physical custody or do we have to ''start all over again'' with the custody battle? What do I need to do to get my kids out of that environment?

Re: child custody

This is no automatic loss of custody. If you want to change custody, have your lawyer file the change of custody motion.
