child custody

I currently have joint legal custody of my son with my ex. I want to move out of the state of michigan. What do i need to do to be able to move legally?

Your attorney needs to file a change of domicile motion. You'll need a court order.

If your ex will not agree, you must file a motion with the judge and give, real, real good reasons for the move. You may find yourself moving without your child. If your ex does agree, you must file an appropriate order with the court. William S. Stern
