child custody

when you are married is it legal for the spouse to move the kids out of state without your permission?

or do you have a better chance fighting it when you are divorced?

Re: child custody

Your spouse may take the children and leave the state--even though you are unaware of it and yes, it is legal unless there is a court order to the contrary. You may get a court order giving you custody by filing a complaint for divorce and asking for the custody at this time.
