Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

child custody modification

My ex and I had joint physical and legal custody of our 3 kids. 9,8, and 2. Now he has moved to Texas. He knows he has to give me full custody, but he wants the kids for the entire summer. Would a judge give him that visitation?

Re: child custody modification

It is my experience that a Judge isn't typically going to grant the entire summer for visitation, but will likely grant at least half the summer. The judge will certainly take into consideration the fact that the father does not get to see the kids very much throughout the year otherwise.
