child custody.

My neice is 14 and was physically abused by her father. She has living with me for over a month and her mother had her put into foster . Both parents are under invertigation and the father has charges against him. Can she choose where she wants to live?

No she can not choose where she wants to live. The judge will decide where the minor lives during the investigation. Usually judges want a child to be with a family member rather than a stranger.
