You need to hire a family law lawyer to establish your visitation and custody rights. Keep in mind that you will be required to start paying child support, whether or not you visit the child. If you have reason to believe the child is not yours, or are not sure, or if she disputes paternity, you will need to have a paternity test first, before going through all the legal steps. What did she put on the birth certificate??
