Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
My ex and I have a child (13) together. We have been separated for four years. Over those four years, I was constantly kept away from her. My ex died this past Wednesday and her family quickly came in and moved our child into their house. Do they have a legal right to her over me? I have a very stable home with enough room, no drug or alcohol habbits, and live in a very good neighborhood in an excellent school district.
