My x is in NorthCarolina I am In michigan I am on social security disibility and have been told he is now to Can I still get the back support alarge sum of money Ther is an order to pay me Is he exzempt from paying the support our son is 34 now.

You are way past due being able to enforce that old child support order. There is a 10 year statute of limitations that starts running on the day the last payment is due. That presumably was when your child was 18 to 19 1/2.....a very long time ago. William S. Stern
