Can the accountant of a restaurant decide that an employee does not need to have child support deducted from their paycheck even though the income deduction was court ordered?

No. Income withholding orders must be included in all support orders and are usually effective immediately. When signed, an income withholding order give the Friend of the Court the power to order the payer�s employer to withhold sufficient money from the payer�s earnings, commissions, bonuses, and other income to pay the child support, arrearages, and Friend of the Court fees. If an employer fails to comply with the withholding order, the court may find the employer in contempt.
