Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Child support

I have two deadbeats who owe a total combined abmount of $15,378.55 in back support. I haven't receive any support since Sept 04 on one case and Sept 06 on the other case. In my state I was told by the local FOC that I cannot go to an outside source to help collect this support. Both deadbeats have active warrants for their arrest, what else can I do to maybe collect any of my support?

You should not rely on the FOC to provide you with legal advice. Nearly all employees in the FOC office are not lawyers and therefore it is common for them to give incorrect legal advice. In your case they have provided you with wrong legal advice. I suggest that you retain an aggressive attorney to go after the deadbeat ex.
