child support

my husband filed for a divorce in a county that the children and I have never resided in.It was filed over 2 months ago and I still have no order pertaining to child support. can I file for support through the county I reside in ? or do I have to do all filings through the county he filed for divorce in?

The filing may have been improper and perhaps should have been challenged right away. Get an attorney immediately. Protect your kids.

Everything must be done in the county that he filed in. Does he live there? If so, then it was appropriate for filing to be there. It could be where either of you live.
