Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
Child support
My husband is behind in child support, but he IS paying what the court has ordered him to pay, and has been for 4 yrs. Is it legal for the friend of the court to clean out OUR checking and savings? Not all the money was my husbands, half of it was mine. What do I do?

Re: Child support
Your attorney can likely recover your half of the money that was taken from your joint account.

Re: Child support
Since your husband could have used all the money himself, the court can use the money to pay the child support. The mistake was to co-mingle your assets with his. William S. Stern
