Child Support/ Inheritance

My Ex-husband owes me over $27,000 in child support. He has not paid in a month. His mother has a trust fund. When she passes away he will receive an inheritance. How can I get my back owed child support from the inheritance. Please help if you can.

Obtain a court order requiring the trustee to pay the money your ex owes you. Even though the trust may have some language in it to protect your husband, as a matter of public policy, such language may be overridden. Contact an experienced family law specialist.
