Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Child Support and Medical coverage for deceased son?

I have been having a lot of trouble with the Ionia Friend of the Court. My son died a year after he was born. He never left the hospital. I have since been charged for child support and other expenses pertaining to his hospital charges. I agreed to pay the hospital charges when he died. Ibelieve his mother filed for and was granted the child support though she never supported him. I recently recieved a copy of an order to withhold income for child support. It also says I am to put the deceased child on my health coverage and am to pay for ''current medical support'' The ''Obligee's'' name as that of my son's mother. have sent copies of his death certificate numerous times to the friend of the court and this is a recent order. I asked for a copy of the court order of child support from the friend of the court but they told me to go to the circuit court. Since I live in Florida this is not possible. My tax returns have also been taken.

my questions are:

1. How do I request copies of court records to be sent to where I live in Florida

2. How can I dispute the orders of child support and wage garnishment?

3. How do I request an investigation into the fraud being committed by the child's mother if she is continuing to claim support?

Re: Child Support and Medical coverage for deceased son?

You should hire a local lawyer to fix this. You need a court order from Michigan. The Michigan order will be honored in Florida. Bill Stern
