Child support

I am currently paying my child support i did however fall behind in 2000 and 2001 i am paying extra to get caught up yesterday with out any notice or warning they froze my bank account i have called them and tried to work with them to pay even more to get caught up but they said that they will not work with me at all and they are just gonna take all the money i have this will leave me homeless and with out a job is there anything i can do

Hello, I have received a copy of your e-mail regarding your past due child support. Litigation regarding domestic matters is one of this firm's areas of concentration. I would think that if: 1) you have been making regular additional payments to decrease the arrearage and 2) if the arrearage is going to be paid off in a relatively short amount of time and 3) you have a good reason why the arrearage occurred that there is a good chance that the Court will allow you to continue as you have been doing. You should consult with a local attorney who is familiar with this area of law.
