Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Child Support Payment

If my ex-wife gets remarried can she still claim zero dollars on her income. Her husband works full time as do I. During a recent case review I was instructed to produce my income statement and she did the same. Of course since i work my pay went up and so did my child support payment. I am very frustrated that she can reep the benifits of being remarried and not having to claim her portion of the bill. Thank you for you help.

Re: Child Support Payment

Your children are not the children of the new husband so he does not get stuck with any of the responsibility for paying for your kids. The fact that she is remarried will not effect your support. Bill Stern 248-353-9400
