child support what takes so long
we filed for custody change and child support to stop and the judge signed the paper the end of jan. It is now the end of March and ex is still getting child support. We are told the paper work is probley setting in a pile waiting to get put in the system, because they are so behind. What can we do to help this along. It is hard to support a child when the other parent is still getting the child support and does not have the child

Your lawyer should obtain an order from your judge ordering your ex to return all of the money that was overpaid and to also return all future overpayments immediately.
