Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Child support/father is a minor

Hello

This question is pertaining to my 16 year old sister. She is 12 weeks pregnant and the father is also sixteen. However his parents are threatening my sister(Desiree)with statutory rape since the father was 15 at the time of conception. Do they have any legal standing?

Also what will happen as far as child support for the baby.....since he(the father) is only sixteen. We already know that we will have to establish paternity since he and his family are denying the baby is his.
