Children sharing room

My ex has and I have joint custody of my 15 month old son. My ex has my son sharing a room and a bed (full size) with his 11 year old daughter. She thrashes violently in her sleep and masturbates anywhere she pleases. I am concerned with the safety and well being of my son. Can he legally be made to share a room and a bed with an 11 old year old on the verge of puberty?
