is it against the law to conceal paternity from the biological dad?

if he finds out - what action should he take? how does the law help him?

Re: concealed paternity

If you find out you (a theoretical you, since you are asking in the third person) are the biological dad, you can bring a paternity suit to establish paternity (you can actually do this without the proof and then request a dna test, but be prepared to pay for it). Once you establish paternity, you then can establish a visitation schedule and/or custody (depending on the circumstances), and if you are not the primary custodial parent, which sounds likely, you would also be required to pay child support. I'd highly recommend consulting with a family law attorney about this, to make sure the process is followed properly.
