Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Conflict of Interest

I am in the process of divorcing. My husbands attorney told him that my attorney liked to get real estate litagated into court, then take care of the management and sale of the real estate, and charging an additional huge fee. Would this be a conflict of interest? Is there a way to check and see if there has been complaints filed against my attorney? I do know the above situation happened once( my attorney told me)I figured it was a unique situation, but maybe not. I am scared!!!!!!!!!!
