Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
I have a court date this coming Friday and my attorney will not be present due to them withdrawing for lack of payment. Do I still go to court this week? If I go do I ask the judge to push back the date until I can get some money together so I can proceed??

If there is a court date that you have received notice about then you need to be there. You can ask the judge for a delay or to deny the motion, but it will be up to the judge on whether or not to grant. If it is granted, you can ask the judge to push back the court dates which he probably will or will instruct your new attorney to file such a motion if you hire a new one.
