Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

If I don't go to court what is likely to happen?

I am living out of state and I can not make it to my court hearing, I cant get time off to call in and they wont delay the hearing, so what cold happen with the custody of our child who is living with his mother, we have joint legal and physical but I moved out of state on 6/10 and have not had him since then. I have tried to contact his mother but she ignores me and tells my family I ''just disappeared'' so I know that is what she will tell the judge. What is likely to happen? Will they terminate my parental rights? will they reschedule if I don't show up or call?

Depending on the judge, MANY things could happen. None of them are good things.

You should immediately contact an experienced family law attorney to help protect you.
