Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Can custodial parent(non-married) force non-custodial parent from home

My boyfriend and his ex own a home together. She and their 2 children moved out twice within a year and a half. This past January she moved back in forcing him to move out claiming possession of the property for her and the two kids. He currently is living in a two bedroom home with family and more than 2 kids. Can he force her to sell or buy him out if they are both listed on the deed and mortgage? She works and he is currently unemployed.

Hello, I have received a copy of your e-mail regarding your boyfriend's housing circumstances. The divorce judgment should spell out the details of who has the right to possession of the house. Check that. If he needs to retain an attorney feel free to have him contact me or my associate, Karen Crusse. John C. Talpos (248) 743-6800 (http://www.Mich-Lawyer.com)
