Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
custody change
My husband went to friend of the court to change his child custody from his exwife having sole physical custody to them having dual custody. The response from friends of the court was that he had to prove that his ex wife is an unfit mother for him to get dual custody eventhough At the time of divorce he voiced to the judge that he did not agree with losing custody and his exwife did not have to prove that he was an unfit parent. There were nothing negative about him other that he was living in a small apartment and his exwife staid in the house. Is this true and is there a way around this law?

No, that is NOT the law. You should contact an experienced and aggressive custody specialist.
