custody when moving

I curentlly in the state of Michagan and I am going through a divorse. My Question is can i have joint pramary coustody if i am plaining on moving or do i have to stay here in the state. And what is the best way about going about getting that. Thank you for your help.

The best way to deal with a move away issue is to alert your lawyer to the issue right away so she/he can deal with it up front.
