Can I get custody?

I'm having problems with my daugthers mom. She won't tell me where my daugther is after she gets out of school, she won't tell me where they live, she sends my daugther to school in dirty clothes, she spends the child support money on herself and their new baby, and her husband is putting his hands on my daugther. My little girl told me that she doesn't like it where she stays and she wants to come live with me. She's only 7 years old, but will the courts at her age allow her to choose who she wants to live with?

Only judges made decisions about where your daughter will live. She gets to make decisions after she turns 18. However the judges may allow her to voice her opinion when she is old enough and mature enough. Until then, an experienced attorney should bring these problems to your judge.
