custody question
once child custody is determined and then yrs later, other parent (non-custodail) wants full custody. On what basis would a judge grant a custody change??

A request to change custody is a multi-step, difficult proceeding. It is not possible to explain it entirely on an internet site. Generally, the courts consider the best interest of the child. You should meet with an experienced and aggressive family law attorney to discuss your case.

Typically, the non-custodial would bring a Motion saying that there has been a "change in circumstances." It is a tough standard to meet and the judge has discretion on these matters.
