Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Custody Review?

I am a friend of a mother lost custody from conviction at time of divorce. Since then has been living with ex husband to be primary care giver of children (several years)and required to act as wife. Situation is becoming intolerable and seems to be affecting children. Mother can't live without them. Is a review possible? Mother will refuse action unless near 100% chance of success to avoid losing them.

A review is most definitely possible. The court will look primarily at what is in the best interests of the children. There can be no guarantee as to what decision the court will make -- it will have to consider all the evidence. Jeremy Morley 212-684-2210
