Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

We had our divorce case dismissed in Mar. and placed a settlement agreement on record with the court. Can I have the Dismissal reversed due to the other parties refusal to comply with the agreement?

It depends on the terms of the Settlement Agreement. I am unclear how you can have a binding Settlement Agreement if the case was dismissed. If the case was dismissed that seems to say that the divorce did not go forward and you are still married. If you mean that there was a Consent Judgment of Divorce entered which resolved the case that is completely different. In that scenario you could definetly file a Motion to have the case reopened for the purposes of enforcing the Order that the other party is not complying with.
