Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

divorce decree question

Our divorce case has been dismissed due to my ex husband not agreeing on any of the provisions in the judgment, so we have to start over again per judge's order...so now what? if hes not compliant with this recent judgment, he wont be 2nd time around,,,,,so do you that the judge will get so fed up that she will decide whats best for us and our infant 7 months old? Also, can I write the judge a brief to the point letter, that is confidential and personal. Will I get into trouble for this and / or is this appropriate. I just dont want to cross any lines with her and is it appropriate or should I not do that??
