after divorce

I am divorced and in the divorce,ex was suppose to pay medical bills,and back income taxes,it has been a year and they are not paid,and the medical bills have come after me with a judgement,what can I do to inforce the divorce settlement,what paper work do I need to file on ex

You probably need to file a "show cause" motion. This is a motion to compel your ex to appear in court and explain why he/she has failed to pay as instructed in the divorce judgment. For more info, please contact my office at (248)851-3171.

You probably should get a good family law lawyer to take action for you. Filing the motion yourself can be done but for maximum effect and to save yourself tons of grief, get a lawyer. Bill Stern 248-353-9400
