Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I want to divorce my father.

I'm 19 and my father is a dead-beat in all senses of the word. Along with changing my name I wish to remove any parental right he has to me in any way. Where do I even start?

Your father no longer has ANY rights over you or to control what you do; you are 19.
