Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan
divorce
I have a wife who has not worked in 6 months and I was wondering If I divorce her would I have to pay her spouse support just for the simple fact that she won't find a job and help me out with house hold expenses. It is hard enough trying to pay all the bills and support her.
And since we have a car together with both of our name on it who will get the car if I am the one paying for it and the car insurence.

Re: divorce
In what county do you live? The answer depends upon additional factors. Not working for 6 months is not the only thing the court would look at.
