Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I was divorced in 2005 and my ex was awarded the house, shortly after she was remarried. My attorney at the time failed to inform me that I needed to have my name removed off the mortgage and passed immediately after the divorce. Since then my credit has been destroyed due to her making numerous late payments. How can I force her to remove my name of the Mortgage? And secondly, can my credit score be retroactively restored once my name has been removed? Note: The house is now a rental property in an upscale area. PLEASE HELP!

This appears to be a huge error on the part of your divorce attorney. Hire a new attorney to request relief from the judge. It's worth a shot.
