If a divorcee of 21 years entitled to husband pension?

I mother-in law divorced in 1977. I have a copy of her divorce paper in states something about $1.00 dowers rights. no insurance claims on property. she received the house. I she entitled to any of his pension from the UAW the words pension were never mention. It was a very short document.

If she was divorced 21 years ago, chances are that any pension she would have been entitled to would have been miniscule so don't fret over it. Since it was left out of the judgment, she will get nothing. But, it would have been almost nothing anyway unless she is 100 years old. Bill Stern 248-353-9400

There is no way anyone can answer this question for you on-line. Take the documentation to a lawyer and have it reviewed.

The thing is, the judgment is so old that it's HIGHLY unlikely a judge would re-open it or even seek to interpret it at this stage.
