Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Is there anyone out there that can help me!! I have zero dollars in my bank acct(living check to check). Been married for 22yrs. Husband received a huge lawsuit settlement from job last sept. He never told me the amount. He bought a home in March and didn't tell me.(found papers). Moved out in may and kept coming in the home when I was at work to take things out the house. The house he left me in has a hole in the bedroom from roof leaking. There are serious structural cracks in the walls and ceilings. The kitchen and breakfast nook has paint and plaster falling off walls and ceilings due to roof leakage. There are broken panes or missing panes in the windows. The basement has dried up sewage and black mold from when it backed up over 5yrs ago. He's cutting utilities off knowing I can't afford to keep them on. He was paying $340 monthly for combined gas/electric(due to drafty house with old roof and broken windows). I found receipts dated back on 2006 where he's been collecting pension and retirement monies from at least two jobs he's had in the past. He's 61 and I'm 51. Found out on mother's day lawsuit was over $300,000. Been looking for a lawyer since April and have gone to a free legal aid clinic who told me I make too much.

Would like a pro bono attorney if possible. I can't afford huge fees but I can pay monthy.

attorney kronzek is correct - there are probably many capable divorce lawyers in your county of residence that would be happy to take your case. the court may order your husband to pay your attorney fees. your husband sounds very controlling and not a very good person - you need to get proactive on this. good luck and god bless you.
