Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

domestic violence custody battle

I had my children taken away from me because CPS is accussing me of child neglect...nothing physical or such. I have put two ppos on my husband so far...the last is until 2007, which the judge knows that my husband has admitted to him and police he has an anger problem and has been abusive to me infront of the children, he has even been arrested for DV. I was wondering if this all makes a difference of our children living with him since CPS seems to think its ok. I was also wondering if my attorney should be saying something to the judge concerning my children have never been left in his care often nor does he accept the the children whom are now 2 and 4 yrs. old. I am concerned what he is saying to them and doing.

I guess my question to you is, if you could have your attorney do anything possible, what could be done that is not being done already? You did not tell us why the kids were taken from you. Isn't this important? Maybe the father is the lesser of the evils. Why did you lose custody? William Stern
