Divorce, honored in another jurisdiction

By "Dominican" I take it you mean the Dominican Rebpublic?

You need to keep in mind, each state has different laws. Many lawsare similar regarding marriage, however the differences in divorceamong the states tend to be greater.

Generally, Maryland will honor a divorce from another jurisdiction, unlessso long as the divorce was granted in accordance with that jurisdiction'srules. (For example, if the Dominican Republic had jurisdictionover both parties at the time it granted the divorce).
