Re: Dower rights in divorce
Before you sign anything, find an experienced attorney who can make sure your rights are protected. Your dower rights, while an ancient tradition, are there to protect you from ending up with nothing in the event of a divorce, depending on what else you sign or how property, acquired during the marriage, is titled.
