My Ex is expressing violent outbursts and erratic behavior more frequently. It has become increasing difficult to deal with him in regards to scheduling visitation of our children. I am concerned that he may be taking his frustrations out on the children , because I refuse to get back into a relationship with him. What legal recourse should I take in this situation.

File the appropriate motion to address his behavior. You may file for a change in custody. I routinely handle these matters. I would need much more information to advise you. These situations are factually driven. Feel free to contact me to discuss in more detail, I'm sure I can help you.
Your attorney should be brought into the loop as rapidly as possible to determine the best course of action. If there is a dangerous situation, an emergency motion or Personal Protection Order might be necessary. If there is not an immediate danger, the attorney might ask your judge to order a psychological evaluation or anger control counseling. There are many fine family law attorneys in southwest Detroit. Fine an experienced family law attorney if you don't already have one.
