If the allegations are completely groundless, false or otherwise exaggerated, you should retain an attorney to put a stop to this. It is against the law to file a false report with Child Protective Services, especially when it can be shown that the person filing it had an ulterior motive for doing so.

There are other remedies you can seek, such as a restraining order or other relief through your divorce/child custody case, to stop this action, including her harassment and otherwise inappropriate conduct toward your children. If there was language in your divorce judgment that stated the parties (you and her) were to refrain from making disparaging comments to the children, then she is in violation of the judgment, and you can file a motion to seek enforcement of that judgment and/or to find her in contempt of court.

Even without the language, it sounds as though she has otherwise violated the law.

Make sure you timely respond to any inquiries by CPS, and cooperate to the fullest, to avoid any misperceptions.
