Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

False Paternity

I would like to know if there are any legal procedures for me to take. I have been taking care of 2 children for 13 years I thought were my grandchildren. Thru DNA I found out they are not.I have paid for dental,vision,health insurance for 10yrs. I have bought Xmas&Birthday gifts.

You are the kids grandmother, even if you have no biology between you. You are fortunate to have such a relationship with the kids. The money is only secondary. Who would you get reimbursed from? A father who you do not know and who may never be disclosed? William S. Stern
