Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Can a father record a converstion between mother and son in Michigan? Also with himself and mother without mother's knowing? Nothing was said wrong to child we were just going through a custody dispute. He admitted also to recording any conversation he has with mother or son.

A party to a conversation can secretly record it. They cannot secretly record a conversation between to different people. That's eavesdropping and a felony in Michigan.
