Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Father rights. If a couple has children while the mother is still married, does the father have rights in Michigan? The couple has been together for 4 or 5 years and has had 3 children togher, then recently she kicked him out. However, the mother has had the father have the children regularily. Does the father have to prove puturnity first? Can her represent himself?

Of course the father has the same rights as the mother. Since the children were born during a marriage, there is a presumption that he is the father and no paternity tests have to be taken. As far as whether a lawyer is needed, you know what they say? 'A person who represents himself has a fool for a client.'
