fathers admitts on tape of drug use.

Can my ex boyfriends wife use the tape conversation between him and I of admitting to his drug use as evidence for FOC? I tape the conversation between us,not her. But he uses coke and pot,which her kids dont need to be around him until he gets help. How would you advise her as far as custody?
