Re: ffamily law

if you live in Wayne County, try contacting the family law free legal aid clinic through Wayne State University Law School for assistance. Unfortunately I do not handle pro bono family law cases at this time. 313.879.2429.

Also try the State Bar of Michigan at 800.968.1442.

You will need to "straighten up" and earn back the Court's trust to eventually get unsupervised visitation with your children. Right now, you could probably get supervised visitation, either at a facility, or by being supervised by someone approved by the court (such as a family member). You will have to comply with whatever the court rules and again, demonstrate over time that you are a responsible adult and that your children are safe being alone with you. Letters from your AA sponsor, probation officer, etc., will all help your situation - and the court will likely require you to provide this documentation.
