Should I file for sole, legal, physical custody of handicapped daughter-dad hasn
Daughter is 18 months, severely multiply handicapped. Father hasnt contacted us in almost a year. As the custody order stands, we need to consult with each other for major decisions, and I am facing rather large medical decisions concerning her. I dont feel i should have to contact him to consult with him on an issue he has had nothing to do with, but i dont want him to be able to come back on me for not consulting with him. Can any one help?

Greetings; Yes, you need an attorney to help you file a motion for sole legal custody. Once you have this, you will not have to worry about consulting him. Give my office a call and I can file the motion the same day. Thanks, atty. Trichler; www.trichler.com; 616-457-5100

It doesn't sound like he is going to be objecting so do what you want. Bill Stern
