Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

I filed a motion to change domicile from Michigan to Maryland. I have sole physical custody we share join legal custody. I don't have any family or friends in Michigan, I'm from Africa the only family I have in the united states live in Maryland where I use to live prior to my moved here when I got pregnant. It's been a miserable 5years of my life living in the middle of nowhere no friends no family to a point where I now suffer from depression and anxiety. I v been off on medical leave since May and my primary care physician and psychologist have suggested I would be better off moving close to my family. I hold a masters degree but was working as a prison guard because I live in a very small city with very low job market. However The judge ruled against me based off of a very wrong information presented by his lawyer. I' m seeking to move in good fate and very willing to keep a relationship between my son as his father I just want to be able to get a better life and be around my family again. However I think his father is only trying to frustrate me because I got him on child support a few months ago, he knows I am a very good mother. The child is only 4yrs and has been with me his whole life we have been to Maryland a few times in the past he never objected until early this year that he started paying child support, then he started asking for more time with the child with the intention to reduce support. I'm thinking about getting an attorney to help see if the judge can reconsider the case with so much information and evidence that I wasn't able to present in court to support my move. Would that be a good move and what are my chances of getting my request granted?
