Legal Question in Family Law in Michigan

Now I am frantic

I have legal guardianship of my 12 year old grandson. He is in Michigan visiting his mother.I posted a question 17 June and got good advice. My problem has esculated. My grandson comes home on Tuesday(?) but that might not happen. Last week my grandson had to call the Farmington Hills Police on his mothers boyfriend. The boyfriend pull a knife on her.He was arrested but is out on bail. Now my grandson thinks he has to protect his mother even though his mother wants to stay with Bill, her boyfriend. He called me crying saying he will only stay a year. I don't want him in that kind of enviroment that is why I fought for guardianship. My daughter has her son so confused and he is torn with coming home and staying with her. She told me that he has to go to court as a witness. I want him home. She overlooks the fact that I have legal guardianship. Do I call the courts and tell them that I, not his mother, am Christians legal guardian.(I dont think she mentioned that to anyone.) That I want him away from that cituation. Do I make my daughter put him on the plane by threatening her. I don't know what to do. I just want my grandson home safe with his grandparents.I dont want hime emotionally hurt like he is being hurt now.Help

Re: Now I am frantic

You can attempt to get the local police to pick up your grandson and return him utilizing the other state's order. However, you may have to get a Michigan order. If so, you will have to obtain a Michigan lawyer. I am located in the area. Feel free to call me at 248-353-9400
